Can you tell me about your own background in the food industry?
Vorwerk have been a big player in the food industry for over 50 years with a passion for producing delicious meals at home. This passion resonates with every person we bring into the business and as a direct sales company, our community embody our love of food every day.
Can you tell me about some of the benefits associated with your product(s)?
Our main product is the Thermomix TM6. This versatile gadget plays a vital role in your kitchen combining over 20 different functions in 1. From the more basic functions like chopping or cooking to the more advanced modes like sous-vide or fermentation, it really is the ultimate sous chef! It even cleans itself!
What makes your product unique?
Our product is unique due to the fact that we are constantly creating updates and adding more value to the TM6. Since its launch in 2019 we have added a number of new functions meaning our customers are always getting the best of the best.
What, do you think, are some of the most interesting dishes that have been created with your product? Do you have any favourites?
This is a difficult one! We have an online recipe collection called Cookidoo where we have over 80,000 recipes from around the globe! We have something for every taste including more basic every day recipes like smoothies, soups and pasta plus recipes for more adventurous cook featuring gourmet ingredients and techniques. Although we’re quite partial to a delicious risotto!
What does the future hold for your business? Anything further to add?
We pride ourselves on delivering not only an exceptional product but also an exceptional service which is why our heart remains in direct sales. Being able to support our customers with a more personal touch makes us one of the best in the business!
Dublin’s legendary culinary festival, Taste of Dublin 2024, in association with international home furnishing retailer, JYSK, returns for 2024 from Thursday 13th to Sunday 16th June in its new location, the historic Merrion Square. It is expected that more than 34,000 visitors will attend the iconic food and cultural four-day event.
