The Shack Restaurant, 24 East Essex Street, Temple Bar, Dublin 2, is finally reopening after 18 months of closure due to COVID19, on the 16th September 2021, Its been a difficult time for all concerned.
The Shack Restaurant has been operating in Temple Bar for over 24 years. It was with great regret that we were forced to close due to the pandemic, that wreaked havoc on human life and businesses across the Globe.
We are so grateful to the Irish Government for their business support and personal support for our Staff during closure. This support was invaluable for our existence and survival.
We are also grateful to our suppliers who waited patiently for our reopening. Without these supports, we would have never been in a position to reopen.
We are also grateful to our Loyal staff, most of whom are returning to work with us once again next week.
We look forward to meeting our Customers from around the world once again and look forward to meeting our suppliers and neighbours.
This closure has also given us time to reflect on our Menus and to create some new fresh ideas and to welcome to our team, our new Managing Director, Paul Lewis who has been in the hospitality industry for over 30 years.
