Famed locally for her luxurious Christmas Pudding, join The Station House’sThelma, for a joyful afternoon of festive baking. Learn her time-honoured tricks of the trade and prepare your own pudding mix to soak overnight, ready to bake the next morning and take home after breakfast.
Wednesday 19th November — Ceramics Workshop with Gráinne Rafter
Working from her studio in Tara, local ceramic artist Gráinne Rafter draws inspiration from the natural beauty of the Boyne Valley and the Hill of Tara. Under her expert guidance, you’ll create your own unique ceramic piece to bring home as a special keepsake.
Wednesday 26th November — Pilates, Sauna & Swim with Audrey Clarke and Hotbox Sauna
A rejuvenating afternoon of movement and relaxation awaits with Pilates instructor Audrey Clarke, followed by a tranquil sauna and swim session at the Hotbox Sauna in Bective.

Wednesday 3rd December — Christmas Wreath Making with Jenny Murphy
Get festive with award-winning florist and former RHS Chelsea overall winner Jenny Murphy. Create your own beautiful wreath using fresh Irish foliage foraged from the hotel’s gardens and beyond. Held in the floral-inspired Carriage Suite, Jenny will guide you through wiring, arranging, and decorating — just in time for Christmas.
Friday 23rd January — Sourdough Bread Making with Chris Brownlow of Bread with Benefits
Discover the baker in you with an afternoon at Chris’s Bread with Benefits kitchen in Tara. Learn how simple, natural ingredients — flour, salt, water, and time — transform into nourishing, gut-friendly bread. Return to The Station House with your own sourdough masterpiece to enjoy or take home.

Friday 13th February — Wine Tasting with Matthew Tindal and Alessandro Orsi (TBC)
An interactive and indulgent afternoon of wine exploration hosted by wine expert Matthew Tindal (Tindal Wines) and Alessandro Orsi, Head of Front of House and Wine Sommelier at The Station House Hotel. Enjoy an impressive selection of wines from the hotel’s extensive list and beyond.
Friday 27th February — Pilates, Sauna & Swim with Audrey Clarke and Hotbox Sauna
Back by popular demand, this restorative session combines guided Pilates with the soothing warmth of the HotBox Sauna and a refreshing swim in Bective.
