The arrival of Cadbury’s Creme Egg is the chocolate equivalent of spotting a comet: you won’t see them for long, but the encounter will warm your heart. This year, Creme Egg Cafe Dublin is coming back, so chocolate gazers won’t only welcome industrial quantities of the beloved treat that will briefly grace shelves like a meteorite shower in the sky.
The café will be hosted at Lock 6 on Canal Road, between February 27th to March 4th. The theme of the year is camping and hunting (for eggs, of course!) so prepare for gooey s’mores and several other delights inspired in the great outdoors.
If you want to go for an adventure, you can join other enthusiasts at the ‘Annual Meeting of the Creme Egg Hunting Society’, hosted by President Edmund Grayson Glenmorris the third – a.k.a. EGG- and immerse yourself in the thrill of the egg hunt.
There’s one evening sitting available daily from 6.30pm – 8.00pm midweek and 2.00pm – 3.30pm on Saturday. While entry is free, booking is essential and the café is opened to over 16’s only.
