Betty’s Milk Bar, an all-new ice-cream bar from Kemp sisters, Domini & Peaches Kemp, is now open at Arnotts serving up both vegan and dairy ice cream, specialty coffee, waffles and sweet treats. Specialising in soft-serve ice cream with a selection of delectable home-made toppings, Betty’s Milk Bar is located on Ground Level at the Liffey Street entrance.
The menu offers a fabulous range of soft serve creations, including the Betty Butter, served with home-made warm salted caramel sauce, melted toffee crisp and Peanut M&M’s. The Betty Brown comes with a dark chocolate hard shell, caramel pecan brownie, warm salted caramel sauce and mini malt balls. And the Mini Betty consists of white chocolate sauce, home-made strawberry compote, unicorn dust and sprinkles. For coffee lovers with a sweet tooth, there’s Betty’s Helper served with a shot of espresso, Nutella sauce and Oreos.
Co-Founder of Betty’s Milk Bar, Domini Kemp comments: “We are so excited to launch Betty’s Milk Bar at Arnotts just in time for the summer months. This is our first venture with my daughter, Lauren Kemp-Gallagher, and we are passionate about bringing the best quality ice-cream and home-made toppings to Dublin city centre. It was important to us to have both vegan and dairy soft-serve ice-cream options so that everyone can enjoy their own personalised sweet treat.”
For fans of the classics, there’s the Plain Betty, with the option to add a chocolate flake and choose the perfect sauces and toppings to accompany. Plus, there’s Betty’s Waffle, a warm hot waffle that comes with maple syrup and berries. Ordering could not be easier, just choose between a cup or cone and opt for either vegan or dairy soft-serve ice-cream before choosing from the menu or building your own special creation.
