Place the butter & sugar into a bowl and mix well until pale and creamed well together
Add the cocoa powderflour and eggs. Mix well until everything is combined
Line two 7” tins and preheat oven to 140oC. Divide the cake evenly between the two tinsplace in the oven and bake for 20-25 mins until springy to touch
Carefully remove from the tins and leave to cool completely
For the icing:
175gicing sugar
125gmilk chocolate
125gunsalted butter
Place the chocolate in a bowl and place over pan of barely simmering water and leave until fully melted
Place the butter and icing sugar in a bowl and mix until well combined and pale
Add the melted chocolate and mix until everything is well combined
For the top:
50gmelted chocolate

Instructions
Sandwich the two cakes together with a generous amount of the frosting. Place a small thin layer on top and smooth out with a small palette knife
Top with strawberries and drizzle melted chocolate on top
