This Bar’s New Winter Warming Cocktails Will Have You Praying for the Chilly Weather

This summer was all about G&T’s and Aperol Spritz, but the award-winning Bow Lane cocktail bar has just revealed the details of their new Winter Warmer Hot-Cup cocktails menu and already we’re praying for the arrival of the chilly season so we can indulge.

Launching from the beginning of October, the hot cup menu is a toasty and tantalizing combination of fruity and spicy cocktails, all priced at €9.

If you’re only freezin’ the Bow Lane Hot Cup will certainly bring the heat. In a nod to the summer gin and Aperol trends there’s Beefeater Gin and Aperol, but in a winter twist they are added to Maraschino cherry juice and a berry tea bag before being served in a tea pot and teacup.

If the smell of oranges and spices reminds you of Christmas then you’ll be transported to the most wonderful time of the year with the The Easy Peeler, made with Beefeater Gin, Cloudy Apple, mandarin, demerara spiced syrup.

Beat the winter blues and kick off a great night with Bow Lane’s Ginger Zinger a tropical combination of Havana 7-year Rum, ginger beer and a Chai tea bag.

Whiskey lovers aren’t forgotten, the Satin and Silk is probably the most deeply indulgent, boozy hot chocolate you’ll find in the city, a sensual selection of Jameson Black Barrel, dark chocolate liqueur, milk, home-made chocolate ganache, Aztec chocolate bitters and double cream.

Of course no winter warming menu would be complete without Mulled Wine (€7), and Bow Lane’s version is a beauty, adding to the usual Cognac and their house-blend of spices.
