Where to Find the Ultimate Hot Chocolate Fix in the Capital this Christmas

‘Tis the season to sip on a sumptuous Hot Chocolate. We have compiled a list of our favourite Hot Chocolates. If wrapping up for a walk whilst nursing a delicious hot chocolate is not yet a festive tradition, this is the year to begin making it one.

Dreaming of a White Christmas? Then look no further than Fallon & Byrne for this decadent White Hot Chocolate. Available to go from the Exchequer Street Coffee Bar, daily until 6pm.

57 The Headline
With a fantastic Hot Drinks Station open Wednesday to Sunday each week from 3pm Wednesday to Friday and from 1pm on Saturdays and Sundays their Salted Caramel, Bailey’s Hot Chocolate with Cream and Marshmallows is quite the joy to behold.

Dollard & Co

Indulge in a luxurious Hot Chocolate by Cocoa Atelier. Cocoa Atelier are renowned for their opulent chocolates and their Hot Chocolate is a thing of absolute beauty. This cuddle in a cup is currently available for takeaway from Dollard & Co.

Square One Cafe, Sandyford,  D18

Square One have you covered with their luxury hot chocolate with lashings of cream and marshmallows. Made with only the best ingredients including Cadbury’s hot chocolate mix, it’s €4.00 for a large cup and €2.50 for a kids one! 

Open everyday from 10am till 8pm.

Queen of Tarts

While the Queen of Tarts Crew are closed until early December we are already planning our visit once they reopen. How could we not! Look at his heavenly Boozy Choc Mint creation (insert heart eyes here!)

Butlers never disappoints but to say we have been swooning over the latest images of Butlers Christmas Hot Chocolate offerings is an understatement.

Laduree

If you have yet to experience the magic of a Laduree Hot Chocolate then this is the season to rectify that. This silky smooth chocolate lovers dream is currently available for takeaway from the South William Street Cafe.

Thru The Green

Dundrum’s very own treat hub keeping locals fuelled, be that on the way to work or just out for a walk. Their traditional hot chocolate topped with ample marshmallows offers a sweet escape. Thru The Green is currently open daily from 7.30 am Monday to Friday and 8am on the weekend.

Shoe Lane Coffee

With locations on Tara Street and in Dun Laoghaire, Shoe Lane Coffee have a unique offering to Hot Chocolate lovers in Dublin with their Chilli Hot Chocolate. This cup of creamy goodness evokes a subtle heat sensation with each sip. Definitely one to try.
