Raymond Blanc, Marco Pierre White and Pierre Koffmann Join Forces At This Fabulous Food Festival

Three culinary powerhouses are set to join forces at a fantastic festival this summer. Raymond Blanc, Marco Pierre White and Pierre Koffman will join together at The Big Festival from 24th – 26th August.

This festival was created by ex-Blur musician turned award winning cheese monger Alex James. It will be a weekend full of top chefs, delicious food, music and more, held in the pretty surroundings of James’ farm in The Cotswolds.

Joining Alex in his exciting line up are Marco Pierre White, who holds the accolade of being the youngest chef ever to gain three Michelin stars.

Raymond Blanc owns Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons and runs Raymond Blanc Cookery School, and Pierre Koffmann, the Michelin star French chef is famed for changing how we eat our food and set the standard for French cooking outside of France.

Koffman and White will team up once again this year as they are set to open a new restaurant in the famed Abbey Hotel this coming September.

The eagerly anticipated Friday Night Supper Club at the festival sees The NEFF Big Kitchen converted into a stunning al freco dining space for an evening hosted by Matthew and Iain Penninton from the award winning restaurant The Ethicurean.

The event is all about sustainability. Each delicious dish served will be created by food waste – cuttings of bread will be transformed into tempting cakes, vegetable cuttings will be pickled and fermented into delectable delights.

The ever popular Cheese Hub run by festival creator Alex James will be back again. This cheese heaven isn’t just for fans of fromage, it is also an all day cocktail bar!

Alex will be presenting his award winning cheese range ‘Alex James Presents’ to festival goers to sample and buy, along with DJs spinning killer tunes to get the parry started.
