Chic New Titanic-Inspired Café Set to Open Overlooking Belfast City Hall

Belfast is undergoing many exciting developments and is set to become home to not one but two new Titanic inspired venues. In addition to the hotly anticipated Titanic hotel set to enhance the Titanic Quarter, the prime location of Cleaver House, with beautiful views of Belfast City Hall will get a dose of the luxury liner treatment.

The experts behind the stunning Galgorm Resort and Spa, Paul and Nicholas Hill, have bought the premises which was previously home to café Robinson and Cleaver, in the iconic 19th century department store which was fondly known as ‘The Old Lady’ to locals. The new café will be called Café le Parisien, named after the café aboard the Titanic.

At the corner of Donegall Square North and Donegal Place, the venue is exceedingly popular with ladies who lunch with its prime location in the heart of the city and unspoiled views of City Hall. As well as this new café venture, the Hills are expected to expand their pizza brand, Fratelli, with a second Belfast city centre branch on Ormeau Road joining the existing Fratelli pizzerias at Galgorm Resort and in Ballymena.

Add to this the fact that Belfast is set to be home to up to 25 new hotels, with both Hastings and Dalata groups eyeing up prime real estate and it can’t be denied, Belfast is thriving.
