Time to Celebrate Wine! Three Places to Raise a Glass to Welcome Beaujolais Nouveau this Week

beaujolais nouveau featured

Beaujolais Nouveau is the world’s most famous vin de primeur, a style of wine which is sold the same year it was harvested in. This means it’s young, fruity and very, very easy to drink. It’s arrival is celebrated every year at Beaujolais Nouveau Day, the third Thursday of November, a date where hundreds of parties across the world are organised to share a glass.

If you fancy joining the festivities, check out three events to take place in Dublin to welcome this year’s wave of juicy Beaujolais Nouveau.

At The Church Bar, they’ve decided to hold until Friday to turn the occasion into a proper party. Join them to share the popular wine along with other French delicacies like saucisson and cheese platers.

The evening will start with an apero and a quiz where attendees can win cool prices. After that, it’s all about the dancing as a DJ will be playing a mix of French and international tunes. Free entry.
