Coppinger Row, Dublin – #TasteCocktailFest

Is there anything better than sipping on an expertly crafted cocktail on a summer’s evening? We think not. With that in mind, TheTaste Summer Cocktail Festival takes the hassle out of the hunt for Ireland’s finest shaken and stirred favourites.

With hotspot cocktail bars around the country showcasing their skills with a special cocktail to tantalize our readers’ tastebuds and quench their thirst for innovative new creations, #TasteCocktailFest is not to be missed.

From now until the end of August, make it your business to sample and sip as many creative concoctions in our exciting festival line up as you can – cheers!

The Taste Festival Cocktail

It’s Aperitivo Hour at Coppinger Row this summer. Every Sunday to Thursday from 4-6pm, a small Cicchetti will be given to cocktail lovers with every cocktail ordered.

All cocktails on the new summer menu are €12.


Top 15 Early Bird Menus

Coppinger Row, based in Dublin 2, offers Mediterranean plates, bold wines & signature cocktails.

Their newly launched summer cocktail menu is going back to the basics; Mediterranean inspired offerings with a focus on fresh, in season, local produce.

Each cocktail on the menu is inspired by a region of the Mediterranean using flavours and liquors most associated with them.


Coppinger Cocktails

Flo & Basy
Their signature cocktail and firm favourite! Fresh Basil, gin and elderflower liquour showcase the flavours of French summertime.

Peroni Spritz
One of the range of Peroni infusions invented by at the time Coppinger Row bartender and now Peroni Global Brand Ambassador Federico Riezzo. The addition of Peroni and fresh ruby grapefruit juice make it Aperol Spritz’s zestier and fresher younger sister!

Normally an almond based sweet treat most associated these days with Provence, here they combine vodka and amaretto, with melon, orange and rosemary for true Riviera flavours.

As Sicily is Europe’s largest producer of lemons, they make an obvious base for a light and refreshing drink combining Solerno, a scilian Blood Orange Liquour, scilian white wine, and soda balanced with strawberries and pink peppercorns.

De La Frontera
“On the frontier” Combining Irish Whiskey, house made ginger syrup, lime juice and Jerez Vermut, a sweet vermouth made from Portuguese sherry.

An updated Milano-Turino with some help from their Spanish speaking cousins across the Atlantic. The classic two ingredient drink (Campari (from Milan) and sweet vermouth, in this case Antica Formula (from Turin)) are joined by Smokey tequila Reposado and a corriander seed and smoked salt cordial. Perfect to start or end any meal.

A twist on a famous Portuguese classic known as a Rebujito. We combine Rum, mint, lemonade and either Fino (dry) or Manzanilla (sweet) sherry.



Tommy is the Bar Manager of Coppinger Row and along with his small team is responsible for the current cocktail creations on the menu.

Starting at the bottom stocking fridges in a busy city centre late night cocktail bar, Tommy has worked his way up the ranks and through the scene into one of Dublin’s finest eateries and drinkeries.

A bit of a book worm, whiskey enthusiast and fan of the floral shirt, he is always seeking out and trying new techniques and flavour combinations to achieve the best results in his drinks.
