Australia’s Adelaide Hills have earned its reputation as a fine wine region. This crisp, elegant Chardonnay shows generous aromas of nectarine, green apple and a subtle almond and toast touch.

Domaine Vincent Girardin Meursault 2009 – €46.45

Biodynamic and made from old vines planted in this top quality Burgundian region, this creamy and voluptuous wine from Chardonnay shows a beautiful balance between nuts, butter, citrus fruit and mineral character. Complex and expressive, this will pour one truly indulgent glass.

Bohoek Semillon 2015, Boekenhoutskloof Winery – €15

Up to 85 year old vines in the South African region of Frankschhoek make the fine base for a wonderful blend of mostly Semillon and a refreshing dash of Sauvignon Blanc. Reminiscent of a white Bordeaux, and with the toasted touch of a gentle seasoning in oak barrels.
