Walk Above The Trees And Experience The Stunning Landscape of Switzerland

Switzerland has one of the most beautiful and untouched landscapes in Europe. From its incredible mountain ranges to the crystal clear lakes. This is before we even get to all the cheese on offer.

So imagine our excitement when we discovered that you can now walk above the tall trees and take in spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding area, and indeed, deep into the distance too.

Located near the Swiss town of St Gallen in Mogelsberg, this brand new treetop walkway offers visitors the opportunity to experience the country’s flora and fauna like never before.

Rising 50 metres from the ground, take in everything from the fabulous Necker Valley to the Churfirsten mountain range.

The path measures 500 metres in length and gently winds through the treetops. It’s as close to feeling like a bird in a tree that you’ll get!

The new attraction is family friendly, wheelchair accessible and the perfect place for picnics and a day in nature.

The best part? Still not widely visited, you can be sure to experience some peace and quiet while basking in the beautiful natural landscape, something Switzerland is known for.

The entry fee is 15 Swiss Francs (€12.91) for adults and 8 Swiss Frances (€6.88) for children.

When you’re finished with the treetop walk, why not visit the nearby Abbey of Saint Gall. The UNESCO World Heritage Site is located in St Gallen.
