The Westbury’s new Bubbles and Cake experience invites guests to enjoy Perrier-Jouët Champagne alongside an exquisitely created dessert amidst the beautiful environs of The Gallery, offering a decadent new way to gather with friends this autumn.
For lovers of afternoon tea who wish to gather with friends in the late afternoon sipping Champagne and savouring a beautifully created confection, this new experience pairs Perrier-Jouët, the world’s most enchanting Champagne, with two exclusively prepared decadent desserts.
Served amidst the stunning and effortlessly elegant setting of The Gallery, Bubbles and Cake includes two delicious pairings: Perrier-Jouët Blason Rosé and Strawberry Shortcake couples the deliciously pink Champagne, with its intense aromas of ripe red fruit, with a cream cheesecake made from Irish strawberries and filled with strawberry compote, glazed and served with all Irish butter shortbread; while Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut and Peach Melba pairs this incomparable Champagne with notes of garden-fresh lemon and peach, toasty biscuit and hint of sweet floral aromas, with a dessert made of vanilla sponge topped with white peach mousse filled with raspberry purée gel, dipped in white chocolate, sprayed and decorated with a dark chocolate stalk and sitting on a simple sable biscuit.

Your Perrier-Jouët Champagne is served on a HyperNature tree exclusively designed by UK artist Bethan Laura Wood to enhance the tasting ritual for Perrier-Jouët. Maison Perrier-Jouët commissioned Wood because she embodies the exuberance of Art Nouveau, a movement that forms part of the Maison’s cultural heritage, and also for her capacity to develop a multidisciplinary artistic practice while maintaining her own signature style. Within her work, largely inspired by nature, Wood demonstrates an ability to convey meaning through her unique use of colour and form. “I wanted to highlight the luxurious, memorable occasions on which we drink Champagne by enhancing an element of fantasy within the tasting ritual. I also looked for a balance between the striking visual impact of the tree and the delicacy of the Perrier-Jouët Champagne tasting ritual,” explains Wood.
The Bubbles and Cake experience, €35 per person, includes 100ml of Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut and 100ml of Perrier- Jouët Blason Rosé Champagne and is available daily in the Gallery at The Westbury from 12pm Monday to Friday and from 5pm Saturday and Sunday for two months from the 16th of September.
