Celebrate the Irish game season with Suesey Street as the restaurant is offering a new selection of game dishes along with their a la carte menu every evening. These dishes will change regularly according to seasonality and will feature the best of wild Irish game.
Sample dishes on the menu include Guinea Fowl & Ham Hock Ballotine with lovage mayonnaise, pea shoots (€13.50) and Wild Rabbit and Jerusalem artichoke crumble with garlic and parsley crust (€13.00).
Feast on dishes such as Roast breast of Grouse, crispy thigh, York cabbage, burnt onion, cauliflower puree, dauphinoise potatoes, game jus (€36.00) and Seared Loin of Wicklow Venison with sticky red cabbage, Clonakilty black pudding fritter and chestnut dressing (€26.00).
Speaking about the game menu, Chef Richard Stearn said: “This is my favourite time of the year when we welcome in the game season and more heartwarming Autumnal dishes. I want to make some of the foods that make Ireland great, more accessible and appealing to a larger and more interested audience.”
He added: “The word ‘game’ brings all manner of memories flooding back to me, my senses as a child were filled with a whole range of sights, sounds and scents of the countryside. Game on!”
Since opening in 2015, Suesey Street has been under the watchful eye of Manager John Healy, who brings his many years of experience to the buzzing restaurant. The appointment of Head Chef Richard Stern has brought with it a great emphasis on filling the menu with an abundance of seasonal ingredients and regular seasonal specials.
The restaurant hosts the popular ‘Wine Wednesdays’, where diners to the restaurant can enjoy a wide selection of fantastic wines at less than half price.
Suesey Street’s game festival will be available from Wednesday 3rd of October and the restaurant is currently taking reservations.
