Speaking about the festival, Joe Costello, Chairperson of Stoneybatter Pride of Place, said: “There’s an old Irish saying that laughter is brightest where food is best. I like to think the Stoneybatter Festival is a great example of this. I look forward to great food and lots of laughter on our Festival weekend.”

He added: “Stoneybatter residents are lucky to have a fantastic choice of places to eat and drink available to them and indeed, many of these businesses have been recognised nationally and internationally. The food and drink activities which have been planned for this year’s Festival illustrate the quality produce on offer in the area and also highlight the importance of communities coming together to support local business.”
