Spring has Sprung at Cliff at Lyons With the Final Aimsir at Home Menu and the Launch of The Mill Box and The Pantry Picnic
They say good things come in threes, and at the lush countryside retreat of Cliff at Lyons this certainly seems to be the case as they welcome the brighter weather with the launch of two new seasonal dining options alongside their already hugely popular Aimsir at Home. New additions, The Mill restaurant box and The Pantry Picnic will give food lovers reason to celebrate throughout the spring and beyond.
The Mill restaurant which launched at the end of 2020 is the heart of Cliff at Lyons where talented chef Sean Smith gets to work his magic. Until Sean can welcome guests again, diners can enjoy The Mill Box, a celebration of luxurious and fresh spring ingredients which showcases Sean’s refined palate and lightness of hand in cooking. The menu will change regularly, but will include six courses, with a selection of home-made breads and a choice of main course. His first menu sings of spring and features seasonal favourites such as asparagus, wild garlic and rhubarb. To add a little extra sparkle guests can choose from weekly changing cocktails and a specially curated wine list. The Mill box costs €95 for two people and is on sale from Friday April 9th with collection Friday evenings and Saturday mornings from Cliff at Lyons with select delivery areas available including all of Dublin and parts of Kildare and Meath.
Moving as always with the seasons, the team at Aimsir have launched their final Aimsir at Home menu. The carefully created eight-course menu features some exciting new dishes such as wild river trout with fennel butter sauce and Goatsbridge trout caviar; a 50-day aged fore rib of beef with beef fat confit onion, whiskey smoked onion puree and wild garlic oil and Ryan’s rhubarb and custard doughnut, coated in rose sugar. Aimsir at Home costs €210 for two people, which includes all food, special skill tools in each box, instruction cards and access to in-depth video content from Jordan Bailey and Majken Bech Bailey, and their talented team. On sale on April 16th and April 23rd, Aimsir fans have two final weeks to experience this very special dining experience before it’s gone forever. Collect your luxury Cliff at Lyons picnic hamper and wander the lush grounds and gardens until you find the perfect sun dappled spot to enjoy your own carefully curated picnic with the choice of sweet and savory pastries, delicious sandwiches, hand pressed juices and wine and bubbles. The Pantry Picnic will be available at the end of April and costs €65 for two people including your picnic and the smart picnic hamper to take home and use again. The Pantry Picnics are available to order 24 hours in advance and are collection only.
