Go West for a Celebration of The Sligo Food Trail with The Gala Harvest Feast
Sligo is quickly developing a reputation as a must-visit destination for foodies and the “Secret is in the Mix” at the Sligo Food Trail Gala Harvest Feast, a celebration of Sligo’s finest foods set to take place in October.
Guests at the Gala Harvest Feast can indulge themselves in decadent 9 course tasting menu celebrating local ingredients, from Sligo’s most celebrated chefs and is a must on every food lover’s calendar.
Sligo has a rich heritage for fresh seasonal organic and local produce and this will come to the forefront in this amazing dining experience created by the Sligo Food Trail, situated on the Wild Atlantic Way and known for its fresh wild shellfish in particular.
Sligo’s award-winning chefs will collaborate, exchange culinary secrets and present this unique Gala Harvest Feast at the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa on Friday 13th October.
Joe Shannon of the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Alan Fitzmaurice of The Glasshouse, Marcin Szczodrowski of Eala Bhán Restaurant, Lee Mastins from The Draft House Gastro Pub, Paul Monaghan of FEED Café & Restaurant, Knox’s David Dunne, Eva Hourihane of Harry’s Bar and Gastro Pub and Marc Gabbidon of The Embassy Restaurant make up a star-studded chef line up of the county’s best.
Proceedings will begin with local Sligo craft beer, along with an array of canapés from the members – a harvest cornucopia of Sligo’s finest. It’s going to be very special night indeed and a real evening of pure indulgence brought to you by the Sligo Food Trail.
