This New Seaside Café Looks Like Summer Coffee Fix Perfection

No matter how high the temperatures get, it is never ever too warm for a caffeine hit, so we were thrilled to hear that a tempting new café has just opened beside the sea in beautiful Portmarnock. Honey Honey looks like the perfect place to pick up a coffee and some treats to take to the beach.

Serving Boabab coffee, roasted in Celbridge, Honey Honey has all of your coffee needs catered to, whether you fancy an Oatly flat white, coconut milk latte or straight up double espresso, savoured in the cute and cosy café, enjoyed in the sun-trap outdoor seating area or whisked off on a beach walk.

Along with a selection of Wall and Keogh herbal teas, Honey Honey serves up delightful baked goods from Strudel Bakery, from indulgent Apple Turnovers and Almond Croissants to virtuous Powerballs and Lemon Oat Slices.

If you fancy something more substantial, their Kimchi Cheese Toastie sounds like a far better beach picnic option than the sandy ham sandwiches we all grew up on, and their toasted specials change weekly.

Honey Honey is on Main Street in Portmarnock and is open for breakfast and lunch, weekdays from 8-4pm, Saturday 9-5pm and Sunday 10-3pm. For more information check out their Instagram.
