The event is family friendly and promises to be a fantastic day out. The kids can take part in an old school sports day – reminiscent of your school days, as well as axe throwing and water zorbing.

Ireland has an abundance of oceans with fabulous fresh fish, therefore the major aim of the festival to promote seafood as a more regular food source.

Music at the event will feature some of Ireland’s best musicians such as headline act The Riptide Movement. Keep the kids entertained at the outdoor cinema showing the hit film Moana.

The art piece will be an impressive 7m high octopus made completely  from waste gathered locally on beaches in Louth and Meath as well the communities school green bins and old fishing nets.
