The Return of the Caveman – Saba’s Paleo Menu is Back

Saba and Saba To Go are delighted to announce the return of Caveman Month. Building on the success of Caveman Month in January 2016, Saba’s Paleo menu (and Saba To Go’s) will feature a dedicated Paleo foods selection inspired by Saba favourites from January 9th to February 5th.

The menu will see the return of the Chargrilled Sirloin Steak served in a delicious red curry paste with new additions to the menu including a Vietnamese Monkfish Yellow Curry, with potato, taro, lemongrass and kale.

Saba’s paleo menu will also include a range of signature cocktails, low in calories, made from the freshest fruit and made using only natural sweeteners. Cocktails include The Gatherer, made with Bacardi Carta Blanca, Lillet rouge, stevia, a selection of fresh berries and topped with soda water (€10.50) and the Floating Market, made with Barcardi Carta Blanca, Luxardo maraschino liqueur, ginger syrup, pea aubergine and lime juice (€10.50).

The paleo menu, created by head chef Taweesak ‘Tao’ Trakoolwattana in conjunction with leading nutritionist Erika Doolan of Nutrition Ireland, stays true to the Saba values, with a focus on fresh, healthy ingredients and rich authentic flavours.

Paleo is a dairy free, wheat free, soya free, and legume free healthy eating plan which has become increasingly popular among health and fitness enthusiasts and is a great way to kick start your New Year.

Paul Cadden, owner of Saba said: “We are delighted to be running our dedicated Paleo menu once again. We are thrilled to be extending our healthy eating ethos once again, as Thai and Vietnamese food is naturally healthy with fresh herbs & ingredients.”
