Seafood lovers and foodies will be delighted to hear about the return of the Saba Lobsterfest next month.
From September 17th – September 30th, Saba will once again be hosting its annual celebration of glorious Lobster. Saba’s executive chef Tao has designed a special menu that will delight diners in this festival of food.
Some of the sumptuous seafood starters included in this fantastic menu include Seared Lobster Tail served with Pink Grapefruit, Roasted Shredded Coconut, Ginger, Shallots and Birds Eye Chilli on a bed of Betel Leaves. Another tempting option is a light and refreshing Lobster Carpaccio served with Rocket and Asparagus Salad.
For the main event, diners can indulge in Chargrilled Whole Lobster served with a rich and vibrant Red Curry Sauce, Kaffir Lime Leaves and Thai Sweet Basil and Jasmine Rice.
Also on offer is a Chuckee Goong Mangkon – a Stir Fried Whole Lobster, Scallops, Asparagus served with Curry Sauce and Fried Rice.
For an extravagant treat, you can share a Seafood Platter for Two. Enjoy Grilled Whole Lobster, Squid, Tiger Prawns, Swordfish and Scallops served with Stir Fried Crunchy Vegetables and Fried Rice.
All that delicious shellfish needs a tasty drink to pair with. Saba’s expert mixologist Victor has created an Irish Sea inspired cocktail. The ‘High Tide’ cocktail is made with Dingle Vodka, An Dúlamán Irish Maritime Gin, Ginger Liqueur, Fresh Lemon Juice, Cucumber Syrup, Sea Salt and Wild Seaweed Bitters.
Throughout Saba’s Lobsterfest, they will be hosting a range of fun events in their restaurants. Craft beer fans can join the ‘Craft Beer Takeover’. Here, guests will enjoy the best Irish craft beer paired with shellfish delights.
