Urban Brewing is a unique venue that brings together a Brewery, Bar, and Restaurant under one architecturally stunning roof. Their concept revolves around offering a variety of experiences centered on sharing, tasting, and experimenting with new flavors. Whether guests are enjoying cocktails on the heated, dog-friendly terrace, sampling beers and tapas at the contemporary bar that boasts over 200 beer selections and a wide range of spirits, or savoring a romantic dinner in the historic 200-year-old dining vaults, Urban Brewing ensures a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The brewery on-site produces Urban Craft Brews, known for their distinct flavors and stories. Urban Brewing typically has at least six beers on rotation, which can be enjoyed through tasting trays or experienced firsthand on one of their weekly brewery tours. These tours, held on Wednesdays at 5pm and Saturdays at 3pm, offer an immersive experience into the world of craft beer. The brewers guide guests through the brewing process, discussing techniques, recipes, and food pairings, while offering samples of four freshly brewed beers. The tours are ideal for work outings or a fun activity with friends and family.
Located in the historic CHQ building, once known as Stack A, Urban Brewing’s venue features 200-year-old vaults that were originally used to store tea, tobacco, and liquor. The vaults, separated by brick and stone walls, provide an exclusive and atmospheric setting for events such as corporate functions, product launches, weddings, and social celebrations. With space to accommodate intimate gatherings or larger events for up to 350 people, Urban Brewing creates a memorable event experience in a truly unique setting.
Their menu is inspired by global travel, childhood memories, and the changing seasons.
