Gareth has designed a course with easy to find ingredients, that can be sourced in any local supermarket.

The goal for this 3-week programme is to get the year off to a flavour-packed start, staying away from processed foods and using alternative fresh vibrant ingredients.

The key is cooking nutritious food from scratch using fresh ingredients. This can be done very simply through solid cooking techniques that will allow you to prepare a variety of meals.

January is a month for cleansing and it is the perfect time to introduce new eating habits.

Healthy and wholesome eating means simple cooking starting from fresh, raw ingredients, staying away from processed foods.

Our busy schedules don’t always allow us the time to cook from scratch every day. When it comes to eating well, preparation is key. All it takes is one day of planning, bulk cooking and freezing your meals. Being organised will help you stay on track.

This 3-week programme for €55  is designed to show people how you can cook flavoursome food, without too much effort. using lots of fresh ingredients and different techniques.

 

 

How Does it Work

Notes

  • The watch & learn cookery experience is sold in cycles of 3 classes, one classes per week, on Mondays at 7:30pm.
  • An information pack including recipes and tips will be sent out on Fridays, so that attendees have time to familiarise themselves with the material.
  • The classes are held on Zoom and an interactive Q&A with Gareth is run via Zoom Chats throughout the class.  A link to the video is sent after class to all participants so if they miss a class, they can watch it back or they can refer back to the video when cooking.

Gareth has designed a series of interactive watch & learn cookery experiences, which will allow people to:

  • LEARN a skill
  • DEVELOP a palate
  • LOVE the ingredients

Each class will focus on specific recipes and is aimed at learning basic techniques (braising, steaming, pan-frying, frying, baking etc) and understanding ingredients.

Each class includes 3 parts:

  • Ingredients– a detailed list of ingredients & local artisan suppliers
  • Recipe– a step by step method
  • Skills & Tips – a simple description of the skill and its different applications, with  simple examples
