China’s most famous premium clear spirit, Kweichow Moutai, made by Kweichow Moutai Distillery Co, is a top quality Baijiu, an alcoholic traditional drink made from a combination of cereals and created without yeast.
Instead, a fermenting agent called Qu is used, providing the drink with a completely different taste compared to other world clear spirits.
As its popularity grows both in China and globally, this once impossible to find tipple is arriving to new shelves, and in Ireland, it has been recently introduced to the offer of drinks at Asia Market.
Kweichow Moutai is priced at €188 and is available exclusively at this shop, known for its extensive and unique offer of Asian food and drink.
If you are curious and want to experience a taste, that packs a punch with a 53% alcohol content, visit their Drury Street branch next Thursday 11th of May, as they’ll be hosting a free tasting of Kweichow Moutai between 5:30 pm and 7:30 pm.
Don’t miss this opportunity to explore new flavours!
