Number 25 Fitzwilliam Place Welcomes the Game Season with Stunning Wines from Ribera del Duero
On Friday 14th October, Number 25, an impeccably restored period house right where Fitzwilliam Place meets Leeson Street, welcomes the game season as head chef Graeme Dodrill launches their game menu at a special dinner with beautifully paired wines from Ribera del Duero, a wine region also famous for its asadores and its obsession with roasting meat.
Guests will enjoy a selection of canapés on arrival as classical guitarist, Imelda Nagle-Ryan sets the tone for the evening with a selection of pieces from her critically acclaimed debut album ‘From the Heart’.
A series of dishes have been carefully chosen, including teal broth with scorched onion, winter truffle and stuffed tortelloni, red leg Irish Partridge with Jerusulem artichoke and chorizo Iberico, followed by roasted venison saddle with pumpkin, orange, glazed parsnip and fermented black garlic, to name just some of the dishes from the 6 course tasting menu.
Wines from Spain are delighted to co-host this showcase dinner and have worked carefully with the finest bodegas across the Ribera del Duero to choose stand out wines to complement the showcase menu at Number 25 on Friday 14th October. Guests will have tasting notes for each wine that is poured, making the evening both informative and delicious in equal measures!
After the 14th of October, the game menu will move downstairs to sister restaurant, Suesey Street where it will be available throughout the game season until the end of November.
