Mount Juliet Launches New Afternoon Tea for Spring

The award winning Mount Juliet Estate has launched a new and exclusive Spring Afternoon Tea menu to celebrate the change in the seasons.

Designed by Head Chef Ken Harker, who oversees the Michelin Starred Lady Helen Restaurant, the new menu contains the best local and seasonal produce served with Ken’s signature creative flair.

The organic salmon served in our Afternoon Tea menu, for example, is locally smoked and supplied by Duncannon Smokehouse who have over 40 years of experience in serving hand crafted gourmet seafood from the South East“, comments Ken.

Highlights of the new menu include homemade pastries and sweets such as mixed berry & creamy vanilla panna cotta, lemon & Jamaican pepper macaroons, pistachio fancies and fresh buttermilk scones with clotted cream and jam from the estate’s walled gardens.

There is a choice of 15 teas and coffees served to guests throughout the afternoon including Jasmine Green Tea, Organic Darjeeling and traditional Irish Breakfast Tea.

Guests can enjoy Afternoon Tea all across the historic manor house while taking in the stunning views of the grounds and the River Nore.

Spring Afternoon Tea is served Monday to Sunday and costs €22.00 per person. Guests can also add a glass of Prosecco or Champagne.
