Kildare Village Launches ‘Food: From the Isle’

Kildare Village Launches 'Food: From the Isle'

‘Food: From the Isle’ is an exclusive summer culinary programme at Kildare Village featuring the best of Irish food culture and is part of From the Isle, a new project which weaves together diverse threads of Irish talent across food, fashion, design, craftsmanship and culture.

The programme will welcome two ‘Lens & Larder, Village Life’ public pop-up dinners on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th of June – hosted by Lens & Larder collaborators Imen McDonnell and Cliodhna Prendergast – which will be followed by a series of food pop-ups, talks, tastings and workshops throughout the summer.

As part of the launch, guests enjoyed a specially curated four course menu with paired drinks by Imen and Cliodhna, during which they learned of the various elements involved in butter making as well as how to perfect an Irish coffee.
