Linked Finance is Ireland’s leading peer-to-peer (P2P) lending company and has managed to raise over €680,000 for Irish restaurants. Restaurants such as Coppinger Row and Whitefriar Grill, in the heart of Dublin’s city centre, The Fishman in Co.Wicklow and Spa Seafoods in Kerry have raised funds through Linked Finance’s online lending platform.
Coppinger Row rasied €50,000 in funding on Linked Finance’s online lending platform. This money was raised to facilitate the expansion of their business with the establishment of a sister restaurant.
Conor Bereen, Owner of Coppinger Row, comments: “Charlotte Quay represents a very exciting growth opportunity for our business, in a prime location, walking distance from over 1000 hotel rooms and a growing local residential area of our target demographic customer base. The funds raised on Linked Finance were used to support the fit-out Charlotte Quay to the standards our customers are accustomed to. In the past number of years, Ireland has earned a reputation as a gourmet destination, synonymous with good restaurants, with the support of the funds raised on Linked Finance, Charlotte Quay is now playing its own part in safeguarding that reputation.”
Linked Finance has facilitated over 700 businesses all over Ireland to raise funding over the past three years. They hope to have lent over €350m to SMEs by the end of 2019.
Linked Finance brings a new viable alternative to borrowing from the banks, where people with savings can connect and lend to trustworthy businesses that wish to borrow. They allow lenders to make a difference to Irish businesses and earn better interest rates while businesses are free to keep their focus on growing their business.
