Relax And Unwind – This Irish Hotel is Opening a Stunning New €1.2 Million Spa

A new €1.2 million spa is set to open at the Osprey Hotel in Naas this June and we’re already planning our next trip to Kildare.

Designed by celebrity architect and star of RTE’s Home of the Year, Hugh Wallace, the spa will be a beautiful touch of nature within the urban retreat outside of Dublin.

According to the hotel, the brief for the spa was to create “an urban sanctuary using natural materials and textures in order to bring elements of nature inside and to create a space where guests could really leave the stresses of modern life at the door.”

The impressive spa is set over three floors and stretches to more than 10,000 square feet. The thermal suite offers soothing experiences such as a dry floatation bed, double and single seaweed baths, Rasul Chamber, heated, mosaic, free standing stone loungers and a Salt Grotto.

Meanwhile, two distinctly different relaxation rooms will offer guests a wonderful space to relax either pre or post treatment. The second floor of the spa will have six treatment rooms, while the couple’s suite on the third floor is complete with a swing!

In order to further enhance the natural theme of the spa, the Irish seaweed based product, VOYA was chosen as the product for the spa and will work very well with the spa’s extensive list of treatments.

Commenting on the works, Jim Murphy, CEO of the PREM Group said: “We are just running through the final preparations ahead of opening the spa on June 8th. The work that has gone into this new facility is absolutely top class, and the design ideas of Hugh Wallace and the rest of his team really look stunning.”

He added: “The facilities on offer at the Osprey Spa will be second to none, and I am confident that it will be a great addition to The Osprey and will be popular among residents and clients of the hotel on a regular basis. We have been very busy at the Osprey Hotel over the last two years, and after putting in a major effort to improve other parts of the business we always wanted to turn our spa into the best around.”
