Ireland’s kindest brand, The Handmade Soap Company, today announce the launch of their workshops: intimate experiences immersing you in hand making the most beautiful products from nature

Dublin, July 1st 2021

The mantra of The Handmade Soap Company has always been ‘kindness comes naturally’. Kindness to our skin, kindness to our planet and kindness to each other. Today, the team behind this Slane, Co. Meath based wellness brand are so excited to announce the launch of their workshops, a plan 10 years in the making.

The Founder of The Handmade Soap Company, Donagh Quigley describes soapmaking as consisting of 3 parts: 1 part chemistry, 1 part cooking and 1 part alchemy. Donagh has now taken this simple philosophy and has used it to develop these fragrant, immersive and completely unique workshops, where he will be sharing his exceptional knowledge of hand making the most beautiful products from nature, directly with you. You will create 100% natural, vegan, cruelty-free and sustainable products, the only way The Handmade Soap Company knows how.

The Handmade Soap Company has always foraged from nature’s pantry, creating using only what is on their doorstep. From making mead from their honeybees to their now world-famous soaps, lotions and balms, using the best of nature’s larder. The team wants to carry this ethos into their workshops and demystify some of the basics of wellness, self-care and pampering. They want to democratise and share the knowledge they have accumulated.

Brand Founder, Donagh Quigley states:

“We believe that a lot of the benefit of self-care comes from the ritual of creation and in these workshops, you will learn how to create your own self-care products from simple, natural and accessible ingredients”.

You will master using ingredients that are readily available in nature and then learn how to customise them with dried seasonal flowers that grow locally. You will leave with your handmade products and the knowledge of how to create your own forever.”

“These workshops were part of our original dream 10 years ago. It has taken us a while to get to an ideal time and place but now we are ready. The intent is to share our knowledge, our passion and to show people the ritual of nature’s self-care is accessible to all.”
