Feast Your Eyes on Ireland’s First Half Metre Pizza

If even the largest pizza order, plus sides, fails to satisfy your appetite then you might want to pay a trip to Da Vincenzo Food & Wine Hall at The George Hotel in Limerick, where Executive Head Chef Vincenzo Incendiario has created Ireland’s first half metre pizza.

Vincenzo hails from the home of pizza, Naples, where the half meter pizza revolution has long been in existence.

The chefs passion for Italian cuisine began while observing his grandmother’s centuries old cooking techniques throughout his childhood.

Having since mastered the art of authentic pizza and pasta making, Vincenzo developed his skills worldwide before settling in Ireland.

All pizzas at Da Vincenzo are hand kneaded and fire-baked at 430 degrees for an authentic Italian taste.

Now, visitors can enjoy the ultimate indulgence with the half meter Napolitano pizza, consisting of three 12 inch pizzas.

The pizza are made using the finest ingredients imported from Italy with seasonal ingredients supplied by local farmers and artisan producers in Limerick.

The half meter pizza, with prices starting from €25, is designed for sharing and is the perfect choice for social eating with friends and family.

Can’t imagine sharing one of Vincenzo’s masterpieces? Don’t need to worry as the Napolitano pizzas also come in individual classic round 12-inch options.
