Make Your Coffee Break Count with Ireland’s Biggest Coffee Morning for Hospice Together

An Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has helped Lucy Greene, one of Ireland’s youngest fundraisers, to get prepared for Ireland’s Biggest Coffee Morning for Hospice Together with Bewley’s.

On Thursday September 20th, some of Ireland’s most famous faces, including Brendon Gleeson, Ronan Keating, Keith Duffy and Mario Rosenstock, are encouraging the nation to support the event by attending a local coffee morning.

One of the biggest coffee mornings taking place will be in Bewley’s Grafton Street between 7.30am – 12.00pm. All proceeds from coffee sold between these hours will be donated to Ireland’s Biggest Coffee Morning for Hospice.

Chair of the Voluntary Hospice Group, Pat Quinlan, said: “The demands on hospice and home care services around Ireland are growing each year. The money raised through Ireland’s Biggest Coffee Morning for Hospice Together with Bewley’s is crucial in ensuring that we continue to meet patients’ needs and support families.”

He added: “The success of the campaign over the last 26 years is thanks to the incredible supporters; our coffee morning hosts, guests, Ambassadors and our sponsor Bewley’s.”
