On the June Bank Holiday Weekend, The International Harbour Food Festival Dun Laoghaire will take place at the East Pier. The festival will celebrate the Bicentenary of Dun Laoghaire Harbour. This is a unique event that will have food stalls from all over the world.
The stalls will offer food from Greece, France, Brazil, USA, Hungary, China, Czech Republic, Nigeria and many others. Dishes from falafel to langos, doughnuts to dumplings and BBQ to popcorn.
A historic re-enactment of “The Building of a Pier” will tell the story of how the Harbour came to be built. A Marine Art Exhibition will also take place between 10:00 am to 6:00 pm from Saturday June 3rd to Monday June 5th.
The International Harbour Food Festival is free to attend and it is a great opportunity to visit Dun Laoghaire and learn about the history of the harbour while enjoying delicious food.
