This Healthy Food Movement is Taking Ireland by Storm with Six New Openings
Since 2015, the Freshii mantra to “Eat. Energize.” has encouraged people in Ireland and across the world to choose more fuel-packed meals, that deliver on both healthy and tasty food. From superfood salads to burrito bowls, wraps and energy balls to breakfast choices, there are many delicious dishes the public can pick.
Expanding is a natural progression, and this worldwide restaurant is continuously climbing that ladder. This month, Freshii founder & CEO Matthew Corrin announced that the brand will open six new Irish restaurants by Christmas 2017, including four Dublin stores in Dame Street, The Point Village, Sandyford and Smithfield.
On the Emerald Isle alone, they are going to be creating 60 full-time and part-time jobs, news that is always welcomed. Following their newly opened store in Lusk, at the Applegreen’s Motorway Services on the M1 southbound, this will add to their growing number and bring their total in Ireland close to 20 stores – a great feat in only two years.
Speaking about the growth of their stores, CEO Freshii Ireland Dave O’Donoghue said that “Freshii’s core mission is to help people live healthier and better lives by making nutritious food convenient and affordable. We have unique and widespread offering for anyone focused on health and wellness. Our extensive menu means anyone can come to Freshii and find something tasty, healthy and energising.”
Those who are familiar to Freshii, will know that their customisable menu is built around high-quality and very fresh ingredients. The variety of breakfast choices include breakfast burritos, pockets, parfaits, eggs and energii bites. Packed with raw & natural, slow release energy ingredients, the tossed salads, hot bowls and healthy wraps are aplenty too.
If soups, fresh pressed juices and smoothies are your forte, you may have quite the selection. Or do you have a sweet tooth? Well, the frozen yogurt flavours are also in abundance, including almonds, strawberries, chocolate chips, dried cranberries, green apple, honey, mango, and walnuts.
Overall there are over 70 ingredients and freshly homemade salad dressings to choose from at Freshii, plus their menu caters to all dietary preferences. Therefore if you’re paleo, vegetarian or vegan, looking for gluten-free, dairy-free or wheat-free, you’ll have just as wide a variety of dishes as anyone else. The new stores will have quite the warm reception across the country.
