This Popular Venue is Bringing a Creative New Brunch Menu to Dublin’s Dining Scene

Hang Dai Chinese is bringing its signature take on Chinese and Hong Kong cuisine to the Dublin brunch scene with the launch of a brand new menu and opening hours.

Every Saturday and Sunday from September 3rd, Hang Dai will host a family-friendly brunch in their Camden Street home from 12pm–3:45pm.

The Hang Dai team are dedicated to creating food which would pass the strictest Chinese grandma’s taste test, and their new brunch menu continues this commitment.

New dishes from the menu include Chili-fried King Prawn Scrambled Egg with Prawn Crackers, Steamed Bun with Ham Hock, Poached Eggs and Kimchi Hollandaise, and Bacon and Egg Fried Noodles with Fermented Chilli Sauce.

Speaking about their new offering, Karl Whelan, Executive Chef & Co-Owner of Hang Dai Chinese, said: “We’ve applied what we’ve learned in our two years of experimenting with Chinese and South East Asian flavours to some brunch classics.”

He added: “Some dishes are directly influenced by Asian dishes: the Thai tradition of fried rice with an egg on top served with chilli vinegar has inspired our Fried Rice, Tenderstem Broccoli, Poached Eggs and Kimchi Hollandaise, while our Steamed Bun, Braised Ham Hock, Poached Eggs & Kimchi Hollandaise is a take on a good old fashioned eggs Benny.”

A new selection of delicious cocktails and pitchers such as Mimosas, Bloody Marys, White Peach Bellinis and Espresso Martinis will be available.

Hang Dai brunch guests will now also be able to enjoy Green Beard juices alongside their noodles, steamed buns and dumplings.
