Gourmet Food Parlour Celebrates 10th Anniversary and Newly Refurbished Restaurant in Swords
Yesterday, February 2nd, Gourmet Food Parlour (GFP) celebrated their 10th anniversary and the launch of their newly refurbished restaurant in Swords, Co. Dublin, which represented a €½ million investment. Among the many friends, customers and supporters of Gourmet Food Parlour, guests included GFP’s ambassador & Dublin GAA Footballer Paul Flynn, sports performance nutritionist Daniel Davey and the Sam Maguire Cup.
Paul Flynn said, “I’m thrilled for Lorraine Heskin, Lorraine Byrne and their growing team on what has been a fantastic 10 years in business. The revamped space here in Swords has a real wow factor and it’s great to be a part of the celebrations here this evening and lend my support in what has become my local haunt in the past few years!”
Lorraine Heskin, Managing Director at Gourmet Food Parlour addressed to attendees to talk about GFP’s story, which begun when they first set up their first premises in Dun Laoghaire in 2006. “Now 10 years later, we have grown considerably with six locations, doubling our capacity in Swords this year with considerable investment. We are so proud of what has been achieved so far and look forward to what we will continue to achieve in the years to come.”
Besides focusing on great taste, at Gourmet Food Parlour they have managed to feature a remarkable offer of healthy and nutritionally rich dishes and products. They’re official nutritional partners with the Dublin GAA County Board & Leinster Rugby and have developed a partnership with Food Flicker, an online nutrition and performance resource.
The company’s hugely successful catering division supplies to industry giants such as AIG, FAI, Google, Universal, Alltech & the Special Olympics.
Gourmet Food Parlour own branches are based in Swords, Malahide and Dun Laoghaire, and they also run partnerships with House on Leeson St, and 37 Dawson St.
