This has to be a steal. Coming from an award winning Château L’Hospitalet in the Languedoc and rugby legend Gérard Bertrand, a man who started working in his fathers winery at the tender age of ten.
This wine has a beautiful aromatic nose with aromas of honeysuckle, pears, cantaloupe melon and jasmine.
The palate like the nose is impressive with the aromas singing beautifully on the palate along with touches of spice, grape and floral hints. The body is luscious with a velvet feel.
This is a juicy and friendly wine that has no harsh edges and is a bargain at €10.00. Stock up while the sale lasts. This is delightful to sip on its own but will equally pair well with roast chicken and white fish.
