Garage Bar is situated right in the heart of Dublin’s thriving music scene in Temple Bar. Step back in time in this unique bar and venue that is throwing back to the golden age of rock n’ roll with 1950’s petrol pumps, tyres, car fronts, walls adorned with images of rock and roll icons and sawdusted floors throughout the bar.
Located in a disused garage, the bar decor screams 1950’s petrol head with its sawn-in-half muscle car props and sawdust strewn about the floor.
Drinks in Garage Bar are equally authentic and range from pitchers of beer to the classiest of cocktails – the Long Island Ice Teas are a particular bar favourite.
The music policy in the bar is simply rock and roll; though in all its guises from Northern Soul to Motown, Punk to New Wave and Indie.
Garage Bar is open late from Wednesday through to Sunday with a selection of some of the best DJs in the city spinning til 2.30 am.
Bars in Temple Bar might make you think of traditional music and tourist prices but Garage Bar is an oasis in all of that serving up funky music and the best cocktails around. Although Long Island Iced Teas are a popular choice, the great value at Garage Bar means you can sample them all.
