Dalkey Lobster Festival

A Great Catch! Dalkey Lobster Festival Brings Seafood and Jazz to South Dublin this Weekend

From August 24th to the 27th, the vibrant suburb of Dalkey will be the place to visit to enjoy the freshest Irish seafood, specially lobsters, cooked in all your favourite ways by local chefs. This year and for the first time, Castle Street will be closed on Saturday and Sunday and 20 marquees will be serving the finest of Dalkey Lobster from their local waters.

Zozimus Bar Street Rhymer Party

DublinTown and local businesses in this district have come together to showcase the best of the Quarter with a festival this weekend – and the best part is, entry is free! A Taste of Donegal Food Festival 2016

The Taste of Donegal Food Festival is returning to Ireland’s coolest county this weekend and will play host to more than 120 food and drink exhibitors, hotels and restaurants, much to the delight of food lovers. The Queen of Brunches: Drag N Brunch at Bow Lane on the Last Month of Every Month

If you have yet to experience the Bow Lane Drag Brunch then make your way to the Aungier Street cocktail bar for the August edition, taking place this Sunday 27th from 3pm. Take a seat, with brunch tables available from 2.15pm, and sit back and enjoy the outrageous antics of DJ and Host Davina Devine and her compatriots Dolly Grip and Mizza.

Trim Salmon of Knowledge Festival

In a celebration of the river Boyne, Trim Salmon of Knowledge Festival takes place August 27th set against the magnificent backdrop of Trim Castle showcase cultural, historical and sporting activities both local and throughout the Boyne valley. Along with traditional music and dance, drama performances, and stalls from Trim and Boyne Valley craftspeople and artisan food producers.

Dublin Flea Market

Sceal Bakery

Taking over New Market Square, Dublin 8, on the last Sunday of each month, the May edition of the Dublin Flea Market takes places this Sunday 28th. Alongside the bizarre bazaar of vintage clothing and bric-a-brac, the Dublin Food Co-op, The Green Door Market will be alive with their regular food traders, along with flea market favourites like Sceal Bakery (grab a ‘cruffin’ before they sell out!) and Katie Sanderson‘s White Mausu, selling Asian rice bowls and her incredibly delicious Peanut Rayu.
