Castles, Cruises And More – Why You Need to Add Fermanagh to Your Irish Bucket List

Wondering where to travel in Ireland this summer? Why not add enchanting Fermanagh to your list.

Fermanagh Lakeland Tourism is inviting people from all over Ireland to add Co. Fermanagh to their list of ‘must see’ short break and holiday destinations for 2018.

Holidaymakers can visit some truly unique spots which are unlike anywhere else in Ireland such as the world famous Belleek Pottery, the Marble Arch Caves and a range of outdoor activities, plus no trip to Fermanagh is complete without a visit to one of Fermanagh’s fantastic National Trust properties.

Visitor numbers for tourist attractions in the county have been steadily increasing year on year with Belleek Pottery celebrating almost 195,000 visitors last year.

Tanya Cathcart, Marketing Manager at Fermanagh Lakeland Tourism said: “Co. Fermanagh is simply bursting at the seams with exciting things to see and do which make it the perfect place for a long weekend or short break.”

She added: “We may not always get the weather we would like but we certainly make up for it in terms of interesting things to experience including a wide range of historical tourist attractions, water sports, outdoor activities as well as lots of popular restaurants and a truly heartfelt welcome.”

Speaking about Enniskillen, she said: “Enniskillen also has a range of shops just waiting to be explored so in advance of your trip why not purchase an Enniskillen Gift Card to make your shopping experience that little bit easier!”

Finally, she added: “We would encourage everyone to visit Co. Fermanagh for a short break or long weekend in 2018 to experience everything on offer, we guarantee you it will be a trip to remember.”

To encourage visitors to try out memorable experiences for themselves, Lakeland Tourism has put together a list of exciting things to see and do in April. You can view these on
