Dublin’s Hottest New Bar and Eatery Opens on South Great George’s Street Tonight
If Italian food is your idea of heaven, you will be delighted to hear that chic new eatery NoLIta opens tonight, Thursday 16th March. Housed in what was formerly Soder + Ko, NoLIta enjoys a fantastic location on South Great George’s Street in the middle of a thriving restaurant district and is in-keeping with the Italian restaurant renaissance previously noted on TheTaste.
Named after the New York neighbourhood known as North of Little Italy (NoLIta), the style is classic Italian eatery meets New York bar with a lively atmosphere, luxe decor and an emphasis on decadence. With extensive menu options, hand-crafted cocktails and world class entertainment NoLIta is set to take you from lunch through to the late night, 7 days a week, without missing a beat.
Slick NoLIta is designed to impress, with a high-ceilinged front room and a pewter topped cocktail bar. The colour scheme and upholstery are rich and inviting with contemporary NY art adorning the walls. Urban warehouse style meets opulence in this chic new space.
This new hotspot is filled with inviting nooks and crannies, one of which is an Irish Whiskey Bar, designed to make the act of imbibing fine whiskey even more enjoyable. A quirky cocktail menu is also on offer, with original creations such as The Brazen Benedict and The Top Shelf Beauty, both €11.
NoLIta is home to a dedicated pizza oven – the engine room of a modern mid-priced Italian menu offering
