When the weather is this good dining al fresco seems all the more alluring than dining al desko. Reading people’s minds, and the weather forecast, just right one of Dublin’s favourite lunchtime food market returns this Thursday to Fitzwilliam Square from 11.30am.
Irish Village Markets have been giving people all across Dublin an excuse to escape the office for the past ten years.
Making it hard to stick within an hours lunchtime, or less in may cases, the markets have a reputation for offering a diverse range of international street food, from all over Europe and beyond.
At the food markets visitors can sample Thai, Mexican, Italian and more, and soak up a buzzy atmosphere while their at it.
The market at Fitzwilliam Square will open its gates to the public every Thursday, with a host of top-notch food vendors, live music and a picnic area to brighten up your lunchtime.
Elsewhere on Thursdays the market pops up on Mespil Road, and outside the Sutherland School of Law in UCD.
On Wednesdays Irish Village Markets can be found at Waterways Visitor Centre, EastPoint and Spencer Dock from 11.30am.
Or get that Friday feeling flowing at their markets on Percy Place and in Sandyford.
