Dromoland Castle, one of Ireland’s finest resorts, is planning to go green this Friday in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day and our cultural heritage.
Visitors to the castle can avail of a number of activities throughout the day, with bagpipers bringing the 16th century baronial castle to life with live performances from 9.30AM on Saturday, 17th March.
Guests will also be treated to an exclusive performance as they saviour a traditional Dromoland Castle breakfast in the Earl of Thomand Dining room.
To top it off, guests can also avail of transfers to the St. Patrick’s Day parade in Ennis, Co. Clare which commences at 11AM.
John Burke, Everest mountaineer and Elevate founder, has been named Grand Marshal of this year’s Ennis St. Patrick’s Day Parade, which is themed ‘Ennis – Ireland’s Friendliest Place’.
As guests and visitors to Dromoland continue to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in the legendary castle, staff will serve complimentary glasses and pints of Guinness to toast to the patron saint of Ireland.
Continuing the Irish celebrations, cheer on the boys in green for the six nations clash against England with specially crafted St. Patrick’s Day cocktails throughout the weekend.
