Delphi Resort Continues their Food Event Series with ‘Summer Seafood with Connemara Smokehouse’ on June 12th
After the success of last year’s events, Delphi Resort are once again running their Food and Drink Event Series. With a focus on local foods and suppliers, the series consists of great food, drink and entertainment with a few twists along the way.
Events in the series include a Wine Appreciation Event with James Masterson of James Nicholson Wines, A Killary food and wine appreciation event with Anthony Tindall and Artisan Beer evening with The Black Donkey Brewery.
The second event of the 2016 programme takes place on June 12th at 5pm. Summer Seafood with Connemara Smokehouse is ideal for all food and wine lovers, in particular those who like fish and seafood. The evening will begin with a presentation by Graham Roberts of the Connemara Smokehouse who will educate and illuminate guests about the traditional smoking methods used to create their signature range of salmon and other products.
Following that, guests will enjoy a drinks reception in the 814 restaurant and a five course tasting menu in The Chef’s Table by Stefan Matz at 7.30pm. All of the ingredients used for the meal are the freshest and finest of local and seasonal produce and have been treated using traditional smoking and cooking methods passed down the Roberts family for generations. The following day guests will have the chance to visit the Smokehouse in Ballyconneely.
This exclusive event costs €95pp and special accommodation rates are available for guests who wish to stay.
