Formerly McDonagh’s Bar, The Dalky Duck is the newest restaurant and bar in the southside suburb. Irish actor Gary Whelan is the proprietor of the newly refurbished venue, which now boasts a charmingly re-decorated restaurant, bar and music venue.
There is also a pretty terrace and gardens, perfect for when you want to dine al fresco or simply enjoy a glass of your favourite tipple in the relaxing surroundings.
The Dalkey Duck has a traditional gastropub vibe in a beautifully redesigned setting. Open for lunch and dinner, they are serving modern Irish dishes with something to whet all appetites.

The bar features over fourteen various beers on tap as well as creative cocktails, ensuring all tastes are catered for. The wine lovers will be happy to hear that all wines are half price from Tuesday to Thursday, the prefect mid-week treat.
They Dalky Duck has a menu of ‘Little Bites’ that are perfect for when you want a nibble to pair with a glass of wine. Enjoy Mini Fish & Chips with tempura battered hake, or tempting Confit Duck Potato Croquettes.
