ABOUT CLODAGH MCKENNA
“This year I am excited to celebrate 20 years working in food. I have studied in France and New York and trained and worked at Ballymaloe Cookery School and House in County Cork and worked for three years developing farmers markets across Ireland, which I am very passionate about. My work in Slow Food Ireland brought me to work at the Slow Food University in Italy, where I stayed for 3 years. I have a restaurant in Dublin and create the menu with Aer Lingus onboard European and Transatlantic flights. My food ethos is simple, local, seasonal with a fresh take on Irish cooking.
Today, I am very lucky to be one of the most well known chefs in Ireland and one of the most familiar faces on Irish TV: I have presented four TV series entitled Fresh from the Farmers’ Market, and Fresh from the Sea. I am a regular guest chef on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch in the UK. In the USA, I am the host of the hit PBS series Clodagh’s Irish Food Trails and a regular chef on the Rachael Ray Show, and NBC’s Today Show. I have cooked on The Nate Berkus Show,The Late Late Show, Esquire TV and most recently I become a regular chef on The Marilyn Denis Show and the Your Morning Show both airing on CTV (Canada).” Read More
