Classic Irish Coffee Recipe by Bewley’s

A rich warming coffee, perfect as an after dinner beverage or to sooth the soul on a cold day!

  • 15 ml Brown Cane Sugar Syrup
  • 35 ml Whisky Jameson
  • 150 ml Filter Coffee Bewley’s Java Filter Coffee
  • 100 ml Cream slightly whipped
  • 3 Coffee Bean for decoration.


Steps to make Irish Coffee:

  • Preheat Whiskey Glass-make sure it is hot
  • Pour 15 ml of Brown Cane Sugar Syrup
  • Pour 35ml of Irish Jameson Whiskey
  • Pour Bewley’s Java Filter Coffee into the glass till it leaves 1cm to the top
  • Pour 100ml of fresh slightly whipped cream
  • Add 3 Coffee Beans on the top of the cream for decoration
  • Brown Cane Sugar Recipe:
  • One part of Cane Sugar to One part of Boiling water
  • Put it in to the saucepan and bring to the boil
  • Transfer Syrup to the glass bottle and you can keep it in the fridge for the next round
  • Enjoy!
