Balfes, one of Dublin’s most popular all-day dining spots, is serving up a 30oz Côte De Boeuf to share when the Irish rugby team play Italy and Scotland during the Six Nations over the coming weekends, 12th – 13th and 19th – 20th March.
Expertly finished by head chef Jorge Ballester, the Cóte de Boeuf is dry aged for 20 days and served with grilled flatcap mushrooms, grilled tomatoes and green salad.
The succulent dish is accompanied with a choice of béarnaise or pepper sauce and home-cut chips or lyonnaise potatoes. The food philosophy at Balfes is to use seasonal delights to create simple, yet thoughtfully prepared dishes.
Whether you are en route to the Aviva, returning from the match or soaking up the atmosphere of the city, the chic social hub is popular for its sharing options which people can enjoy on the heated terrace, in the bar or in the main restaurant, accompanied by one of Balfes bespoke craft cocktail creations.
The Six Nations Balfes Cóte de Boeuf menu special is available at on both Saturday and Sunday from 3pm, 12th – 13th March and 19th – 20th March.
